The Place to Go for RPO.TM

In celebration of Women’s History Month in March, the Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association is proud to present the Influential Woman and the Rising Woman awards, recognizing women in talent acquisition who make a difference in the life of their organizations, their teams and their clients.

The Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association is proud to present the 3rd Annual Women in Talent Acquisition Awards.

Women in staffing and recruiting continue to face gender and inequity issues.

Women in the staffing and recruiting space lack recognition and growth opportunities according to a 2020 study conducted by ClearlyRated.

  • Women of all races were most likely to report making between $40 – $59k a year. For men of all races, the median reported earnings were $100 – $119k.
  • This inequitable distribution of compensation is further compounded by race.
  • Self-reported median income is lower for all female respondents, while women of color are virtually unrepresented at the highest tiers of compensation.
  • Women are 1.7x more likely than men to say that increasing the recognition they receive in their positions would increase their career growth, and overall less likely than men to agree that they receive recognition for a job well done.

"Most companies target women as end users, but few are effectively utilizing female employees when it comes to innovating for female consumers. When women are empowered in the design and innovation process, the likelihood of success in the marketplace improves by 144%!”

- Indra Nooyi

Together, we can be part of the solution by recognizing and empowering women in talent acquisition.

Last year, the Women in RPO award made such an impact on those recognized. Women in recruitment process outsourcing (and talent acquisition as a whole) deserve to be celebrated for their contribution and the impact they make every day.

For the third year, the RPOA is proud to present the Influential Woman in TA and Rising Woman in TA awards, honoring women’s achievements in the talent acquisition field. #WomenInTA.

“Celebrating women's achievements and increasing visibility, while calling out inequality, is key.”
