"Kim Mumma is VP Client Services at ADP RPO. She has been delivering consultative RPO solutions to clients for over 15 years. She is instrumental in constructing creative solutions to meet clients' talent acquisition challenges despite market changes, technology advancements, and fluctuating client business demands.
Kim applies leading edge staffing
principles to anticipate talent needs, attract and recruit high quality team members to lead and develop
client specific recruiting strategies.
Kim brings clients a broad global and domestic experience in all aspects of candidate sourcing, selection,
interviewing and on-boarding. She is experienced in people and project management, consulting and
leading change management within a large corporate environment. Kim is knowledgeable in a wide variety of
industries working closely with clients to analyze, design and, audit hiring strategies and solutions.
Kim has helped clients streamline their process, incorporate best practices and resolve issues by thinking
outside the box. Having deep insight into the talent market challenges and overarching strategies her
clients face every day, Kim works through and around issues to get results, partnering with clients to
develop solutions that make sense and deliver a strong return on their business.
Her consultative approach
and creative thinking have delivered on many successful RPO partnerships. With Kim's leadership and
expertise in providing talent acquisition solutions, RPO clients have realized success and many have also
won awards such as Great Places to Work, Military Friendly Employer, Best for Vets Employers, DiversityInc
Top 50 and AntiaB.org Top Companies for Women Technologists.
Examples of strategic consulting success include:
Market Insights: When you have been in the business as long as Kim has, you have strong market insights
from monitoring trends through good times and in bad, work with a variety of clients and unique scenarios,
and learn to be creative and share best practices to help the whole of RPO more positively impact RPO
clients. For example, pre-pandemic, recruiting looked completely different and now, recruiting has
completely changed.
People are limiting their in-person activities (hiring events, onsite interviewing, etc)
which historically yielded favorable results. It's a candidate market and we are constantly pivoting to
understand how candidates want to be communicated with. It is a candidate market. Companies are hiring
again, but people are enjoying extended unemployment benefits, Federal stimulus packages, taking care of
family members that are home, assisting with remote learning which leads to a preference of remote work for
many people. Companies must modify the talent acquisition strategy to meet what recruitment looks like today
and tomorrow.
Client 1: A company ceased all hiring activities due to market conditions and then suddenly changed
direction. Seemingly instant growth in hiring by 300% resulted in Kim's quick action to partner with the
client to understand and prioritize candidate identification, talent attraction strategies and hiring.
Kim's expertise recommended incorporating an innovative recruitment and sourcing initiative, leveraging
the latest candidate screening technology, and included virtual interviewing to increase the candidate
pipeline. As a result of these actions, the new hire class targets were met and on time.
Client 2: One client experienced a significant increase in business due to the recent pandemic. Kim
worked with the client to understand the new hiring demand and align ADP's scalable delivery team with
their growth. This caused a shift in strategy and Kim stayed in constant contact with the business to ensure
she maintained a pulse on the evolving needs in order to deliver results. As the client has realized the
strength in the partnership and value that RPO brings, the RPO scope of delivery has increased by 400%,
allowing them to focus on more strategic initiatives and leave recruiting to ADP RPO.
Client 3. A global client approached ADP with a series of questions based on recent changes in their business and Kim contacted the client to talk about what was happening in the business. A root cause analysis was conducted, and Kim consulted with them to address their concerns and came up with a solution. Through the process, the client realized that they can rely on ADP to stay on top of recruitment demands and the value-added solution we provide because we address the business need holistically, and not through reactive responses."
"Kim joined WilsonHCG in 2010 as an executive recruiter and, it was clear then, according to WilsonHCG’s CEO, John Wilson, that Kim 'would go far.' And go far she has.
Since 2013, under Kim’s leadership, WilsonHCG has grown client revenue by 400% and implemented an organizational structure that has allowed the company to strategically expand globally across North America, EMEA and Asia to scale with client and market needs. Kim drives conscious inclusion and diversity as an empowering leader, which is reflected in a workforce that is 65% female.
Kim co-chairs WilsonHCG’s Women Who Lead employee belonging group, which is for emerging and current women in the business looking for a support network and mentorship. She spearheaded the development of multiple global partnerships, has been instrumental in three acquisitions, the most recent being the acquisition of Profile Search & Selection in Asia in February 2020 and helped WilsonHCG raise capital from three private equity firms in 2014, 2017 and in 2021.
In 2020, when the pandemic hit, Kim spoke to every single WilsonHCG client to offer support, working 14-hour days. As a direct response to the challenges Kim discussed with our global client partners, she mobilized resources with expertise across major pain points to develop strategies to innovate through the pandemic.
Kim launched Project Next, which included redeploying our bench resources to support multiple hospital systems across the U.S. on a pro bono basis to help struggling talent functions on the frontlines. Also part of Project Next, Kim led a team to help clients understand the impact of the pandemic on their employer brand and reputation by analyzing how they’re handling the pandemic as compared to their top talent competitors and designing a communication strategy for use during and post-COVID-19. There are over three dozen other elements of Project Next that Kim helped to manage, from diversity initiatives to optimizing client tech stacks."
