Whether focused on a client, employee or colleague, Amy Bush finds ways to help those around her flourish.
Amy’s strategic leadership guided Sevenstep’s RPO and MSP service lines to 30 and 50 percent growth, respectively. Her attention is always on cultivating client relationships. Her hands-on approach includes building strong relationships with client stakeholders so that client needs always inform her business choices. In her ongoing effort to make fact-based decisions informed by client experiences, Amy championed the development of Sevenstep’s proprietary data aggregator, Sevayo® Insights, which gathers historical data to produce intelligent, predictive analytics. Sevenstep combines this powerful tool with a team of data experts who accurately analyze and interpret client data and help predict outcomes and formulate strategies for reaching goals based on current and historical performance metrics. The results of Amy’s data-based, client-centric approach are clear: Sevenstep has an exceptional ninety-two percent RPO and MSP Enterprise client renewal rate.
Sevenstep’s increasing growth has fueled unparalleled hiring;in 2021, headcount increased by 105 percent. Even during this era of the “Great Recession,” Sevenstep’s employee retention rate remains a steady ninety-four percent, in part thanks to Amy’s commitment to a culture of work-life balance. Because she embraced remote work well before the onset of the COVID-19 crisis, Sevenstep was well-positioned to pivot quickly when the pandemic necessitated a dramatic shift in the workplace paradigm.
Amy does not just increase headcount;she builds teams and mentors emerging leaders. She has an exceptional ability to identify someone’s strengths and skills, even when they have not identified these things for themselves. Once she does so, she encourages them to expand into new professional spaces. She finds unexpected opportunities for individuals working at Sevenstep. Finding opportunity does not always mean matching a person with a job. Sometimes it means creating a job where none existed before. Amy has vision, and she is generous with that vision. She shares it with those who report to her, and that feeling of opportunity, that encouragement to grow “trickles down” across all strata at Sevenstep.
Amy’s vision is also her talent as a leader. Where someone else would see chaos, Amy is able to see order. She looks at a situation and breaks it down into smaller pieces, creating 5- and 10-year plans that she communicates not just to leadership but to all employees. Her visionary plans have changed how we operate as a business, and the results evidence this change.
Under Amy’s stewardship, Sevenstep consistently wins industry accolades. Based on feedback from clients in some of the world’s leading brands in Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Logistics, Manufacturing, Technology, Engineering, Financial Services, Retail and Travel & Leisure, HRO Today awarded Sevenstep a place on multiple Baker’s Dozen lists for the past ten years. Everest Group designated Sevenstep as a “Star Performer” on their 2021 PEAK Matrix™ Assessment of Global Managed Service Providers, as well as a “Major Contender” on their 2021 PEAK Matrix™ Assessment of Global RPO Providers, while NelsonHall designated Sevenstep as a “Leader” in their 2020 Annual NEAT Vendor Evaluation for RPO.
Amy is a visionary leader, creating and achieving Sevenstep’s business objectives and leading Sevenstep toward more growth each year. At the same time, she never fails to stay in sync with the needs, aspirations and talents of the employees and clients vital to that growth and Sevenstep’s ongoing success. It’s a rare combination, and we at Sevenstep are grateful for it.

Natalie got her start in RPO ten years ago, in 2012, as an entry-level office coordinator at Alexander Mann Solutions. She was just out of college and loved this new industry. She put maximum effort into her first job and made herself indispensable to everyone she encountered. Leadership noticed. They gave her more and more responsibility and soon promoted her to project management work. Natalie was curious about every aspect of RPO and vocal about expanding her job description. She explored employer branding and implementation.
In 2015, we welcomed Natalie to Sevenstep as a Manager on our Transformation Team, responsible for running new client implementations and continuous improvement projects for existing clients. Her exceptional skill was evident, and within six months, she was promoted to Senior Manager, in charge of project managing multiple global implementations. Sevenstep leadership was impressed with every aspect of Natalie’s accomplishments, especially since she began these simultaneous worldwide projects as soon as she started her new position. Natalie continued to meet and exceed goals. Her unending desire to grow and explore different aspects of the RPO business enabled her to transition into learning and development in 2018.
In December of 2019, Natalie was promoted to Director of Global Transformation Services. Natalie flourished in this role and, only eighteen months later, became Head of Transformation and a member of our senior leadership team. Supported by nine employees, Natalie now leads the way in defining and implementing the processes Sevenstep follows to support new clients. Natalie is in close and frequent consultation with clients, continually evaluating, customizing and improving implementation to suit their evolving needs. As they begin their partnerships with us, she chooses the members of Sevenstep’s transformation teams that will support them day-to-day, designing and refining their training.
In addition to her Transformation leadership, Natalie oversees the strategic direction of our Learning and Development program and all of its content creation and execution.
This content consists of 160 proprietary training courses and four role-specific recruitment certifications (each Sevenstep employee participates in an average of 60 hours of annual training each year). Within the last year, Natalie’s team has facilitated some 500 classroom trainings, 70 of which have taken place in the first quarter of 2021. As Head of Transformation, Natalie has trained hundreds of internal Sevenstep employees and Sevenstep clients. Of particular note, with the onset of COVID-19, Natalie quickly pivoted, redesigning in-person Sevenstep trainings into engaging virtual e-learning experiences around the globe.
Natalie’s responsibilities extend even further. She oversees all of Sevenstep’s internal new hiring, including recruiting, screening and onboarding. Learning and Development education was a monumental task in 2021. Last year, Sevenstep’s headcount grew exponentially at an increase of 105%. Natalie took on this challenge with seeming ease.
Natalie is the internal and client communications team lead for Sevayo® Insights, Sevenstep’s proprietary HR analytics platform, and runs implementations for that technology for external clients,
Since she joined Sevenstep in 2015, Natalie has successfully led more than 15 new global client implementations. Additionally, she has acted as the executive presence in half a dozen ATS projects that have included implementing new systems for clients and optimizing existing ATS’s.
Here is a highlight of Natalie’s recent critical projects:
• The rollout of Sevayo® Insights to a Fortune 10 Healthcare Company, including employee training
• Installation of Sevayo® Insights custom build for a Fortune 100 Manufacturing Company
• Three RPO and one MSP implementation (Sevenstep’s first global MSP relationship)
• DEIB thought leadership, consultation, reporting and support to Sevenstep and key clients
• Design and execution of Sevenstep’s proprietary toolkit and approach to virtually deliver multiple RPO and MSP implementations. In total, Natalie has helped launch over half a dozen new virtual programs.
Natalie has led “transformational” programming at Sevenstep in every sense of the word. Her expertise and input for large-scale, high-impact initiatives is indispensable. Her colleagues trust her expertise and guidance, and our clients trust her knowledge and judgment. Natalie has built strong relationships with multiple client stakeholders, and because of that, they are always eager to see her name as part of any project with Sevenstep.
Natalie’s professional growth has been exceptionally fast, and her accomplishments are remarkable. We are impressed by her constant curiosity and desire to grow and master new areas of expertise. We cannot wait to see what the next ten years hold in what is proving to be an exceptional career in RPO.

"Noelle began her career in the RPO industry as an entry-level recruiter with Sevenstep in 2010. Her supervisors immediately recognized her talent. She excelled — with ease —at filling a wide range of high-volume positions and noted her “soft skills” as she interacted with colleagues and candidates. Over the course of nine years, her talent, hard work and commitment earned her regular promotions: Lead Recruiter, Team Manager, Senior Manager, Director, Executive Director, and finally, Vice President of Client Services and a member of the senior leadership team at Sevenstep.
In her role as Vice President, Noelle ensures that all of Sevenstep’s healthcare clients receive comprehensive and creative solutions to their business challenges. She manages relationships with Fortune 10 clients and their executive leaders, communicating their needs and concerns to the Sevenstep delivery teams.
Noelle develops and manages these programs, assigning key positions and building the teams that will work with our clients. This delegation requires critical knowledge of Sevenstep employee strengths and necessitates an acute understanding of our clients’ ongoing, evolving needs. Noelle also ensures that Sevenstep’s intangible resources — including Sevenstep’s technology platform, Sevayo®, and proprietary data and analytics tool, Sevayo® Insights, — are fully used in service of Sevenstep’s healthcare clients. She is additionally well-versed in utilizing all such human resources, including offshoring options.
Indirectly, nearly 150 people report to Noelle. She is a data-driven leader who gets to the facts of any concern quickly, in part by being so intellectually astute and also because she is an active listener who builds trust with each individual involved, whether internal or external. Noelle not only knows how to manage people, but she also knows how to lead and inspire them. In addition to her interpersonal and communication skills, Noelle knows to distribute tasks to the right people, which is how she can serve Sevenstep’s clients so well.
Noelle has distinguished herself in her career at Sevenstep by being a proactive, engaged leader across all client delivery and corporate development dimensions. Notably, she has successfully led the fulfillment of outsourced recruitment services for several key Sevenstep clients, including:
• A Fortune 10 healthcare and retail client with over 4,000 hires per year across multiple U.S. shared services locations. Noelle’s team has driven valuable business results, including a significantly accelerated candidate pipeline for critical roles and streamlined candidate screening and assessment processes for front-line, hourly hires. As a result of her team’s efforts, the company has seen attrition fall from 50% to 10%, time-to-hire has decreased by 25%, and 100% of agency spend has been eliminated for salaried hires.
• A second Fortune 10 healthcare client with over 7,000 hires per year and more than 50 profile types in nursing, social work, case management, claims benefit analysis, customer service, benefits specialists, administrative support and service operations. By optimizing standard talent acquisition processes and enhancing recruitment tools, the company has seen its present-to-hire ratio decrease by 20% and new hire retention (90-days or more) improve to 97%.
Noelle is continually educating herself and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. She is also at ease at a podium and is a frequent guest trainer and speaker for internal events and external analysts, with expertise in healthcare talent acquisition.
Not just anyone could enter an industry in an entry-level position and sit as a member of a senior leadership team only twelve years later. Noelle is that extraordinary and inspiring woman, and what is so exciting is that she is only at the very beginning of her career."
