JOHN YOUNGERFounder of Accolo and RPOA. Mojo Master at HireMojo John’s not really limited to the technology or recruiting fields; he invented a carburetor for his 1967 Chevy Impala while in high school. It was during this time that he began to see the connections between math, chemistry, physics and their emotional impact on the person behind the wheel. This accomplishment helped open the door to the University of Notre Dame where he earned a degree in Math and Computer Science and was introduced to new people, big ideas and global concepts that helped shape the person he is today. With 5 patents and a knack for getting his companies on the Inc 500 Fastest Growing Companies list, he has issues with authority. For example, he was told multiple times not to come to the selection camp for the United States National Rowing Team. He showed up anyway, and was subsequently on three U.S. National Rowing Teams in 1985, 1986 and 1987. The rebel, idealist and founder of 5 companies, most recently HireMojo, John Younger is a nutty rower still getting up way too early to practice, hopelessly in love with his bride of 15 years and the father of two boys passionate about online multiplayer games. He can be found heading an effort to make the Marin Rowing Association’s boathouse the first 100% solar powered facility of its kind in the United States, volunteering at his son’s school or with his HireMojo crew thinking up even better ways to make hiring great people significantly easier for all of us. |
